Ferries to alanya. Summer season

can anyone please clarify whether the ferry from girne to alanya runs mondays and thursdays until the end of September 2011 or October 2011. ? I have found info giving both months ? Tried contacting ferry company but no response. Appreciate any help. I want to visit there third week in October . Thanks

I thought Akgunler only ran across to Tasucu not to Alanya ? Can you reconfirm . Thanks Yorgozlu. What about Fergun?

when u use ferry (fergun denizcilik etc..) it depends on the weather and it takes between 3-6 hours... they have a web page :

its nearly 6 hours with bus to Alanya (you'll have to wait for the buses) if u use tasucu ferry.I been to alanya by car from Adana and i can tell you the roads are very bad and didnt understand anything from my holiday.

i think the best way is allways the plane.

And i did asked about the prices to fergun last year it was somethıng around 120tl. which is the same price with round trip ticket..

A friend of mine booked today Girne/Alanya on Sunday (not Monday) 5th June.



We were told that Girne/Alanya are Sundays and Thursdays with Alanya/Girne Mondays and Fridays.



Cost Return YTL127(1 way YTL77) + taxes 40(42?) so total cost YTL167 or YTL169.

This is per foot passenger and I assume from transit time of 4 hours (3 1/2?) is by catamaran.



I don't know if catamarans take cars.
