Had a lovely meal last night at the golf club, great steak, service was really good, nice company.

Not only a good evening all round, I forgot and left my purse on the table, the very kind waiter came running to the car to give it to me.

Thank you Kind waiter !!! Great evening at the Korenium .

I fully agree

We regularly take guests to the sunday brunch. Fantastic service and the food is delicious. Watch out for the hotel deals in the summer. They offer special rates in the kibris newspaper.

Pipie. We stopped going to the golf club for a meal because they always served frozen veg (There is nothing worse than frozen sprouts) including carrots, when there are stacks of fresh in the shops.

Is this still the same or are they serving fresh veg?

Please let me know as its such a lovely setting for a meal.

When we go out for a meal and pay top prices (the golf club) we do expect decent food.

Any lumox can throw a frozen sprout into a pan of boiling water and plonk it on a plate, along with a soggy frozen carrot. If thats the food you like, then you eat it.

There are a lot of restaraunts out there serving fresh food, so why accept second best?

Sorry Michael i just checked in, on our last visit in March we went along to play golf and to be fair the veg in question was asparagus and it was I think tinned rather than frozen, but the steak was very tough as well making for not the best experience, on this visit we have given it a miss for evening meal but tried breakfast, it was passable but only just, we much prefer the breakfast served at Esentepe hotel or Joya restaurant which are both on our way back to Tatlisu from the golf club

The plot thickens.......

Now I think this is important enough to post about as some of these so called up market establishments are trying to pass off fine dining with a tin of asparagus and a frozen sprout or two.

The question is shall I go and check it out next time I am passing, or give it a miss?
