I have just posted a query about contact lenses and wondered if anyone has had laser treatment here in TRNC. If so could you give me some info and idea of price.

How bad are your eyes?

Do you know your prescription?

I enquired (mine are -1.75 & -1.5) but was told they wont operate unless they are worse than +/- 2

Prıor to moving out here, I went to Moorfields in London, as mine are -1.75 they refused the proceedure, though Boots didnt seem to care.

Check out the world eye hospital in Istanbul, they are the best and you get to spend a couple of days there at the same time. I know you can travel in the morning see the DR and have all the tests done, if any work is required they will either do it that same day or the following morning so you may be looking at spend minimum 3 days there but plenty to do. http://www.treatmentsaver.com/dunyaeyehospital

Judy no thankfully i have not needed it done but 4 members of my family here have all had laser surgery done there and go back for regular check ups. All the top stars go there so must be good.
