Has anyone here in TRNC got a 1.8m motorised dish ? If so have you had any problems with it not stopping at the correct settings or anything similar?

If you haven't had any problems where did you get the dish and motor ?Tektan are saying that we need a 1.8m dish (for what we want to watch - specifically footy) but a motorised 1 (to incorporate the other sats that we already have)they say will not work here as it will not stop at the reqd settings and we will have to keep fine tuning it !

UK Turk has been brilliant in trying to sort out the problems we have been having and talking us through the options and helping us set up the system (or the part that Tektan have managed to do ! ) that we have now.

Why do you need a 1.8m just wanted to ask as I have a 1.2 motorised and get the german,arabic, greek and italian version of sky with every single football match you could possibly watch and all the latest films and documentaries.

i can answer you that!!!

because with a 1.8mt you can get the best package out there of a satelitte called thor at 1 degrees west and the name of the package is called digi tv and this can be unlocked by the software i have been talking about on the next box take a look http://www.flysat.com/digitv.php also the advantages of having a 1.8mt u can also get some of the sky channels on astra2 also the german package in english on astra1
