Gossip, gossip, gossip........ people just cannot help themselves

Gossip I suppose is unavoidable - however I was some what shocked yesterday to be told by one of my hairdressing customers (who I have known for a very long time ) that my husband and I are ''leaving the island because we have no money, cannot afford to live here and therefore are going to live in my husbands 'village' in Turkey as we have no other choice'' - a friend of hers who was ' reliably informed ' of this information by her hairdresser last week who ' of course you know she does not gossip ' SHAME ON YOU !!!!!



I was planning firstly to speak to my boss about my move and then to inform my customers - but it seems that I was beaten to it by idle gossip !!!! I had not even sold my house when these lies where being spread around about my family.



We are moving to Turkey at the end of June - much faster than anticipated as we had thought it would take some time to sell everything - what fortune we have had to sell a house, plot of land and a car in 3 weeks !!!!!

so it is with excitement that I am posting to say we are leaving Cyprus in a few weeks time - to start our new life on the outskirts of a big hussle bustle city called Antakya in Turkey , a cosmopolitan city , not too unlike Cyprus- not some little village where we will be miserable as was suggested by others - people who I once considered friends.



My hairdressing customers I would like to say thanks to for being loyal to me - many of which I have known for 7 years . So it is with sadness that I will have to say goodbye to all these people - I will contact everyone in due course - I have a recomendation for a very good hairdresser who speaks good English and I know that he will look after every one of them!!!! I will pass on all colour records to him to so nobody needs to be worried about their colours being different - he is a very good hairdresser !!!!



You now have the facts - lets hope the ' gossips ' can at least be factual about what they are saying !!!

Gossips are unhappy people with empty and worthless lives. They only talk about those they are envious of and seccretly admire for being smarter than them.

So have a fantastic new life, secure in the knowledge they remain in a latrine of their own making. Good luck!

Oh bugger, just when I've found someone who can really cut my hair the way I want it!!! I really do envy you moving to Turkey, we would be there as quick as lightening if it wasn't for the fact that no-one appears to be buying houses (how lucky are you then!!) at least at a price we could afford to let it go for. I hope you have a wonderful life out there and you manage to find homes for the pooches.

The gossip here is so ridiculous, we have been here 4 years, and in that time.



We have supposedly got someone deported.



Someone has sold our Land without us knowing.



I work for Zoom magazine.



My Wife is very unhappy and want's to leave Cyprus and these are just the ones we know about.
