Hi Everyone

arrived in Ancona this afternoon,just going to laze around for a few days untill we catch the ferry on sat night, if anyone else is planning to drive it is 950 miles from Calais and the traffic around Milan is a nightmare. If anyone has caught the ferry to Cesme to Ancona what time did they board. We were told 7.30pm boarding for leaving 10.30pm but that seems early.

Not only is the traffic around Milan a nightmare but the "ladies of the night" every 20 metres are a positive hazzard... with only bra and pants on they stand by the side of the road all the way from Bergamo to Milan... no wonder Italian driving is all over the place...



Funny thing is, when you get here you'll realise they drive like that too but there is no excuse... which is a shame...

Won'the "ladies of the night find it a bit cold in winter" sorry I forgot they would probably be able to put their clothes on a hanger and hang it from ???????????????????

a friend of us has done it 3 weeks ago, came to see us before - we live at " la loire valley " the time is 10.30 twice a week - he left one saturday - coming from england - going to girne -
