I'm planning to go for a couple of weeks soon.

I'd welcome any suggestions,flights,it looks like via Larnaca best.

Recommendations for hotels,I'd like a beach resort

Do I need visa

Any injections needed.

cebu ,very nice try the shrangrila hotel near the airport ,very nice,

larnaca, dubai, manilla, cebu,

been four times in the last year, depending what you want there are better places,borocai, chocolate hills ect.

excuse the spelling!!could be borocay

Mike dont stay in Manila! Get a ferry and go to one of the islands for a few days - I took an old wooden overnighter to the island (unfortunately forgotten name as we did 3 islands) where there is black marble and stayed in a beach hut - beaches fabulous and empty. Manila is the only place Ive been to where the doorman at a bar looked in my bag for a gun and the doorman at McDonalds has an AKwhatever it is!! Frightening! If yiu are really interested I can go and rifle (ha) through photos and see if Ive put names of islands down!!

Only take out with you the money you need for the night if staying in Manila. Beware of con-artists in Manila also. It's a fascinating place if you proceed with caution and stay in the touristic areas. Do not wear jewelery openly, keep your money in an inside pocket and make sure that your handbag has a flap that can be closed.

Having said all the above, the local people are lovely and genuine.

Even though my job was security, I was well conned out of $1000 ! Stupid me!

No I am staying in Cebu City,just change planes in Manilla.
