Hi Happy Feet,

We were at Stevie's Bar, Sweet Homes, Tatlisu,

for Sunday lunch, last weekend, my wife had

"Creamed Stilton and Broccoli Soup", soup of the day.

And she thoroughly enjoyed it.

when we moved to the village we were given the local speciality, the most disgusting soup i have ever had to be polite enough to eat.

i do like the lentil one though.

How did you get the squiggle under the C in the heading Wayne. Have you got a Turkish keyboard mate?

Through most of the cooler months at the Bandabulia in cetral Girne they serve the Hellim soup which I think is the same as the one UK turk mentioned (tarhana soup which is made from hellim cheese and has chunks of hellim in it too).

Its in the smaller cafe inside running along the wall not the Juice and general bar in the Centre. Also good value and a nice place for coffee particularly Turkish coffee at 1.5 YLT.
