Anyone got any thoughts about this "price reduction" of houses by Unwins?

insert 'to' in between 'just' and 'relieve'. There could be some fun to be had tomorrow. Lets all turn up and have a good time at their expense.

are they going my feeling heairng about p[robs at sunny lane etc is that its a last ditch attempt, we gave our money to them to buy from mr g robber and they wont even give us documents claim thet are archived where you ask. Left us without a home and or money, again another case of living on peoples misery. thank god this little place weeds them all out. lilli

They are not selling their properties at up to 40% off... they are selling other peoples properties... what makes you think they are the ones who will be moving out?

As the housing market in the UK stagnates properites here will do worse...

They have obviously got a lot of desperate builders on their books who they've convinced recent hikes in property values are no longer sustainable (if they want to sell them - and believe me they do) So now's a good time to pick up a bargain compared to the prices being asked up to now....

The bit about "soicitors are on hand to help" That's got to be a joke. I was asked to sign a contract with them. This is a standard contract on their computer that just needs to have names, prices, dates changed etc before printing it out. They wanted to charge £250 for this. These people are greedy horrible people.

Alsancakjack,

If you do go down to Unwins, could you get a doggie bottle for me. I am stuck here in the UK, but I could collect it later!

Called in as I was passing just for a nose around, the place was buzzing.. had a bite to eat and a chat with the staff..... cant knock 'em on this one, at least they are doing something positive for the market rather than sitting around waiting like the other agents..... lots of sold stickers on view, so it was obviously going well...credit where credits due... excellent stuff... get down there and see for yourselves instead of knocking them all the time....

Kibris, from what I have heard from people with first hand experience, if Unwin's get "knocked" they have asked for it! I think it will take a lot more than a free glass of wine to put right all that has past.

Personally, I wouldn't touch them with someone else's bargepole...

If they were giving villas away would you lot still knock them?

Would you say "No thanks, I don't want one...."

Be honest...

Oh, really?

Really?

You need to seriously ask yourselves if you are not a little hypocritical.

Go on have look and see if you're able to spot the glaring omission/s

Frankly yes I would say no to them if they were offering me a free villa. I would much rather see them sort out the people who have suffered financial deteriment from trusting them.

So I for one am not being a hypocrite.

Wyn

Have got 2 for you and if I could find a way of e-mailing them to you then I would. But you know wine spoils if it is left for any length of time so i will taste it on a regular basis until you are out next.

Just for your info, if you click on the flags, you will find out that its a free google translation tool, it does not actually include Turkish. This is a standard add on for many websites to help visitors from other countries ..... but lets not spoil a good "knock" with facts.

Kitty1 message 31 "from what I have heard"

oh dear..... the rumour mill again!

Well Speaking from 1st hand experience..... I bought my property through, them, used the recommended solicitor, sent my payments to them....... guess what.... no problems, and i have my Kocan!

But lets not let the truth spoil a good knock eh?

Kibris, if you had read my post properly you will see that I actually said "what I had heard from people with first hand experience." Therefore I am not peddling rumours, I happen to personally know people who have been victims of this firm and have seen the heartache they have endured.

Obviously it is good to hear that you personally have had no problems - you are speaking as you have found, and I simply do the same. I rarely post negatively and I never post on factual matters I have no idea about.

That is my final word on this subject.
