| We still have hope, we can stay up. We watched the game in Pine Bay with Phil our friendly West Brom friend. It was superb, and Wolves got a deserved 3 1 win. |

| History Lesson: The black country was so called because it was the area where the 30 foot seam of coal comes to the surface. This area covered West Bromwich, Oldbury, Blackheath, Cradley Heath, Old Hill, Bilston, Dudley, Tipton, Wednesfield, parts of Halesowen, Wednesbury and Walsall. This area does not cover Wolverhampton, Stourbridge, Smethwick, or what used to be known as Warley. It would appear from these facts that the only blackcountry derby in first class football could be West Bromwich Albion and Walsall. I'm sure that many Wolves fans are drawn from the blackcountry, but the team is certainly not based there. Still Wolves were the much better team on the day and I look forward to many more so called 'blackcountry derby's |
