Sorry dreamer your wrong I have had no end of Cypriot customers who have been fined and told to leave their bike on the side of the road until they show the policeman that they have a helmet

If it were up to me you'd have been fined 4000tl maybe that would make you wear your helmet next time. ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET !

Wearing Helmet is good..But this is not the case here. Police just cutting ridiculous fines. Useless tickets. No rules n regulations

mess 11 - true Tatlad - got stopped on the 400cc Honda Falcon about 500 yds from home - neither me of my missus had helments on cos it was very very hot and we were only going 2-3 miles, but got fined 500TL...

To be fair they didn't stop me riding the bike, just went home, and saw the same policemen about 5 mins later, this time sporting our helmets.........

Cyprustimes. Helmets have blindspots ? Is it too big and covering the eyes, worn back to front, or has it some other technical shortcoming ?

As a biker for many years....anyone who rides on two wheels without wearing a helmet is a idiot, and a clown!

Apart from the safety issues, you'd be eating dust and flies!!!

As A biker, forget the law "wear a helmet" and I suggest you buy a good one!!! a few friends of mine are still here because they wear the correct gear. Most accidents are at relativley slow speeds that a 50cc could achieve. With regards to visability just practise your lifesavers (head turns)
