This new road is well underway situated opposite the petrol station at the bottom of the mountain road coming from Tatlisu.

The beginning of the new road was doing quite well back in Feb this year but now it has come on amazing well. Approached it via Famagusta this time ame out at Gecitale but could see quite clearly it is not going to be long before it is finished, real progress since feb this year !! fantastic for us at Tatlisu all of these connecting roads are also going to be such a boom for the East !! It just gets better.

can anyone tell how far east towards the karpaz the new road goes thats recently been finished , the one that goes past the tatlisu beladeisy resteraunt ? i was wondering if you can now get to the end of the karpaz on this road .

Just had a lovely drive going towards the Karpaz amazing the road is now finished starting at Tatlisu we drove to Buyukkonuk just past the Garavolia restaurant, solar hill lighting in situ at Garavolia, makes sense why on earth is it not used more ??



At Buyakkonuk the road joins another main road turning left to the Karpaz. Hope this helps !!

There has been a full report over the past few weeks on the new ROADS to the karpaz together with photos here http://www.glencoecyprus.com also an indepth report on the marina with photos, I find it really useful for factual information on the East side

Amazing how they are getting on with this new road !! Fantastic. I really am surprised how fast they are working on this road, I would imagine it will even cut the travelling time down to Larnaca airport from East way. Great for us also as we like to visit Famagusta on a regular basis. Just Brilliant !!
