Zola has not been approached yet, but it is believed they want him to take over the job Ray Wilkins was doing, not as head coach.

Team jump Ship – and head to pub!



Eastfield Harriers’ game with Ship FC in the Barnsley Sunday League had to be abandoned.



After the Ship manager withdrew his team and headed to the pub with 20 minutes still to play!



The referee had no choice but to call an early halt to the match, with Eastfield 8-1 ahead.



Ship were duly charged by the Barnsley FA with ‘failing to fulfil a fixture’ earlier this week, and have seven days to respond.

I don't think Zola is experienced enough to take charge of a top Premier League team.You need the best coaches at that level which Zola is not ! His only managerial stint has been at West Ham for two years and a short spell as assistant with the Italy u21's. Not enough by a long way. He would be worshipped by the fans but he wouldn't be given any time to "build" the team, it would have to be instant success or you're out !!

Anything less than the "Triple" in 3 years will be failure ..

Took SAF 4 years to win a trophy .. Nobody remembers that ..

I do, all the M.U. supporters calling for him to be sacked ..
