I have seen lots of cars whizzing about today with german registrations and numbers on the roof racks any ideas any one?

It is a group of rally enthusiasts that are on their way to Jordan?? I think.

Stopping here from last night and heading off tomorrow - Egypt ??

Were out east side this afternoon

"Allgaeu -Orient Rallye " which 300 neo-classic cars and 4 motorbikes arrived from Allgaeu,Germany and only stayed 1 day in North Cyprus .They are leaving tonight and heading to Amman,Jordan. 300 cars will be sold in Jordan and money collected from cars will be donated to United Nations food fund in Jordan.

It is indeed an annual rally from Germany to Jordan, and they are only in Cyprus because of the problems in Syria which has stopped them from taking their usual route. They give the cars over when they get to Jordan and all fly home. There are 300 cars in this year's event. I only know because I had a chat with a couple of them today in Girne.
