Help,my Cyprus Terrier Puppy,Hunni, gone missing in Lapta

She was spayed yesterday,so "Honey"coloured,stitches in tummy,very friendly,brown collar.

Never left the garden before,I wrapped in blankets and she was sleeping soundly at 8 last night.

I have been up since 6 no sign of her

Mike,

Check under trees, bushes etc chances are she won't have left the garden as she will probably still be groggy after the anaesthetic.

I live on the Lanbrousa Road going up to the mechanic......there are always dogs round near me, I have three crazy ones of my own...but recently theres more and more poppin up as mine go play with them all. Worth checking out.



Good luck ill keep my eyes open when I return this evening.

Mike, I do hope you find her ok.



I know cats are different but when I had Smudgie 'done' last year she wandered off for 2 days - I was worried sick but she turned up again absolutely fine. She could be lying sleeping off the effects of the anaesthetic still - affects some worse than others!



Print off some pictures of her and write your phone number and 'KAYIP' (lost) hand them to locals while you're out looking.

A happy ending !!!!!After another trip around Lapta,there she was,coming out of the undergrowth in the lemon grove.

Chris you were right of course,but i thought I had looked everywhere.

Msg. 19 I think we doggy people are all as caring as Mike is, we'd trawl up and down the roads for days on end if one of ours went missing. As someone said, she was probably very groggy after the Op. and just woke up completely befuddled and lost her bearings. Glad you have her back and congrats for having her speyed. I wish everyone else did the same.

She's staying in her kennel feeling sorry for herself !!!Going to force feed her antibiotics,now....she thinks it's another vet's needle !!!

I'm back 29th May come and see her and have a thousand licks !!!!

To all the lovely people on 44 :

Thanks for all your help giving me encouragement finding Hunni.When I was walking,driving around Lapta

for 6 hours this morning,it was so reassuring to know that many of you were looking out for Hunni.

Maggie,yes,she is one of a million and my bestgirl friend.

And to those who don't know,she was found in a black bag on a skip in Girne in September,maybe hours from death !!!
She gives such pleasure to all my friends she meets,goes for her holidays to Girne and Karsiaka.

End of saga,thank God/Allah she does not have to be spayed again.
