Check out http://www.ncmoneyguide.info/ you will need to register but on the banks page there is list of all the banks and good indication of what TL rates they are paying. There is lots of other helpful financial information too.

anyone one know what small turkish banks there is between karsiyaka and lapta on the left hand side? oponed a account last year and have lost the book. make it worth your while.thanks steve

I don't believe that there are any banks between Karsiyaka and Lapta. There are 3 on the left hand side of the main road in Alsancak. The first one, coming from Karsiyaka is Iktisat, the next is Limassol Turkish and the third is Turk Bank.

Perhaps you mean universal bank,which is by starling!

In any case,it does not matter if you've lost your book.Pop in with an id and they'll sort it out.
