Deniz 1(mess 1)

because they will take all your money, and then not build the home you have paid for, or they will mortgage the land beneath you, so you will end up with nothing! no lawyer will careless either way! I would tell the soldier to enter the TRNC at his peril, however the peril is exactly the same in the ROC! so I'm sure he will have his wit's about him! WHY????????????? God only knows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

rowlo (mess 2) Don't enter the ROC because they will kill you ? said the turks .

Maybe if he took his uniform off it might just be safe for him. Get him to come along with all his mates too A whole platoon of naked men...

I attended the wedding of a friends son in Girne last year and great reception on a boat in the harbour after. He was a serving British soldier in the south and so were a lot of his friends ......Not a problem. Have to say he had a couple of very nice Greek Cypriot friends with him who had a great night along with the rest of us.

Scaremongering me thinks.

Hi everyone,

I don't believe tht it's true, that he is going to be killed,

I think it's just greek politics to show North Cyprus is not safe for foreigners.

BUT ıf you want to be sure, you can ask to officicals at borders .(just in case)

Don't forget where we're living and what century we 're in !!!!!!

Deniz,

Have to agree with Msg 9 Scaremongaring me thinks. My son has been stationed down South for the last 4 years and I no for a fact that there is no restrictions on Service Personel coming for holidays to the North. Many of them come over for the weekend as it is much cheaper than the South. They are however forbidden to enter Ayia Napa.

I am also banned from entering Ayia Napa but I imposed that ban on myself as I can remember when it was one of the most beautiful and enjoyable places on earth !

Wasn't it in the paper last week that on average 16 people a day are shot in the harbour area, and it's almost impossible to cross the road because of tanks.

Ah, no, it was the south forum, a post from 'paranoia' I think

The 'squaddies' used to call Ayia Napa: 'Eye a Nipple'!

I didn't know they're banned from there - they were certainly banned from Paphos, cos if they couldn't 'pull pussy', they just wanted to fight with everyone - didn't matter if you were a tourist, expat, or local!
