| Some years ago a Cypriot from Değirmenlik (Kythrea) got into conversation in a restaurant near Çatalköy with an ex British army Çatalköy resident about his home village.
He collects archive photographs and was given a telephone contact number by this person so that he could phone him back to get copies.
Of course, he lost the number and would like to find this man.
All he can remember is that the man was in Cyprus with the British Army in the 1950s and participated in Operation Sparrow in Değirmenlik. Also that he owned a boat in Kyrenia around 2001. If anyone recognises this man from the description could they please phone 0533 861 2397. |

| Hi Brian Yes. On the thread about King Richards School she menioned him and his photos of cyprus. A friend of mine has been in touch. It seems he is in his 80s but still comes back here. He was here in the 50s. |

| I will phone Marion as it sounds like him. I think he is the guy who wrote the book recently with photos in it from the 50's.
