Well just the matter of a win needed against Man Utd to stay up

What a story that will be!!!!! If we do it i reckon Fergie will present Sir Olly with the manager of the year award. After the Bolton game Olly and the team did a lap of the ground in the pouring rain and clapped all the fans, Who wouldn't want the guy as there manager ?????

The man is legend, if he keeps us up he will get the freedom of the town probably name the Tower after him

Good luck Blackpool but hubby seems to think that Manu will go all out to do his prodegy Macleish a favour because if blackpool lose it would probably secure Brummies in the premier

Kavenkoy,

If you lived in Blackpool and had spent years listening to pretend Mancs spouting drivel every time they opened their big mouths i am sure you would be fed up of Manure.

Exactly FY1

Whether we stay up or go down its been great this season to see the ground swell of support shift away from teams like Manure and Liverpool to the home town side

Most will probably return to claiming to be ' a massive Utd fan ' tho if we go down - despite having never left their armchair / local to actually travel to Salford to watch a match

12 and 14

just to clear this little matter up ,before you both go off on a tangerine (meant tangent lol).

i want Blackpool to stay up .Check back through my posts and you will see .Ilike footy the way it should be played and entertain the fan .

what wacks me is im not a pretend manc and dont spout dribble .

But i do show respect to the opposition and its fan base .....so i know its only tongue in cheek ,but comments of manure ,taggat ,weakend team a bit offensive .

i would gladly let you have all 3 points know and would love you to stay up ....but guys its a sport nothing else

i would like to see them stay up and brum down i think ...sadly though these last day results dont go the way some fans hope ....i could see blackpool causinga "little upset"

ps ,shame on little united was gutted ....couldnt make the colwyn bay gigg ,but away to buxton last month was great in last minute

The last time United played Blackpool in the league, was in the 74/75 season at Old Trafford.United had just won the old second division title, and went on to beat Blackpool 4-1.The attendance was 58,000,and it was 10 bob to get in, was lucky enough to be at the game.Sorry for the anorak moment.

I really hope that Blackpool stay up,they have been a breath of fresh air this season.Charlie needs to watch himself though,as the season has gone on he has started to put in some quite dodgey tackles.Away win at the shrine should do it,

Paul.

Thought so - even tho I was too young to be there ( 6 years old )

None of that Sunday please - we need to continue ' The Best Trip ' and provide ourselves with the ultimate bragging rights as compare with our unfortunate neighbours at the other end of the M55
