yes you can say Im having a senior moment. The gas we buy in bottles here for our gas hobs and heaters I assume is not the same that runs a gas fridge ie LPG. Googled and it says LPG is Liquid petro gas. How do you come by this in northern cyprus.

No it's not, it's "Liquid Propane Gas" ..Available at Shops and Supermarkets, just take your empty with you ,,I think it's 31tl for refill................
