Hi UK Turk,

yes I am a gooner for my sins and yes I will probably be celebrating in Ally Pally BUT i don't think I'll have to wait until the end of the season for the party to start , but saying that whats the chance that your first win will be at the emirates next wednesday ?? now that would be embrassing

at least they r filling the emirates week in week out that must be more pleasing than winning nothing for four years at least u got one over man u this season getting silvistie and chelski by giving them cole and getting gallas in return!!!lol

u lot need that russian to take full control bring back david dein and kick the other board members out all them old blokes and the bird who owns the majority of the shares to the club

Yes very nice keep filling the cash cow "emirates" every week , and actually its 3 years since winning a major trophy , I think your quite right we need to sell out to the russian and then maybe we can have a team where the manager can't buy or sell the players he wants and we could make really stupid decesions , like selling a 40/50 goals a season strike force and replace them with !!!!!!!! but that would never happen would it !! could it ?? and after not winning anything for 3 seasons we should have sacked the manager like our neighbours down the road do every season , who needs stability at a club when you can keep spending millions of pounds every season and have nothing to show for it (whoops sorry I didn't mean to diss the Carling Cup ) i must remember thats its all about money and if it doesn't work after say 9 or 10 games get rid of the other fella and go and but a new one , surely thats the proper way to do it ??God bless the foresight of Mr Levy , a true visionary

JTS..Stoke being my home team Ihave to say Iwas pleased with the result ,but if they can only win2-1 against 9 men I dont hold much chance of them surving there first season back in the top flight.Trouble is they are owned by an Icelandic outfit and look whats happened there....

Coachie ,

I think that after watching the game yesterday I share your somewhat pessimsitic prediction , I'm sure that you were as good as Hull last season and look what there doing right now, it's all about confidence and Hull have it right now , but you may find that yesterdays result could set you up for the next few games . but more worringly is the point you made about your owners, will you have any cash to splash in the January sales or will you even have to sell ??

It's a cruel division the premiership, but good luck with the rest of your season (apart from against us please )

hi jonny

oh yeah sorry fa cup in 04-05 season and champions in 03-04 season, yeah you are right its better that your russian does not get full control otherwise wegner will go out and buy over inflated rubbish players which he has done over the years, the two mistakes he done was get rid of viera and henry two great players and he cud of had them around now to bring all the youngsters thru quicker not enuf depth in the squad aswell to win anything this year

one thing ur rite on is selling keane and bebatov and defoe this is not levys fault its that ex gonner commoli and who levy works for enic like you said its all bout the money which is wrong clubs like ours have to be owned and runned by fans of the clubs with money and the passion for their club or some super rich arab like who bought man city

thats why admire these smaller town clubs maybe i shud go and support enfield town or barnet!!! lol

A young boy goes to social services and tells them he has no where to live. “What about your parents?” asks the social worker. “No, they beat me,” says the boy. “What about your grandparents?” says the social worker. “No, they beat me even harder!” says the boy. “Well … where do you want to stay then?” replies the social worker. “Tottenham,” says the boy. “They don’t beat anyone.

What do a tooth pick and Tottenham have in common? They both have two points"

Head up UKTURK,,,, as you say the jokes are old, just another team name used. But just when you think things cant get worse, along come Stoke. I`m sure the last time the Spurs played Stoke they had Garth Crooks in their side. Now things can only get better. It might help if the boss kept with a formation and regular players, instead of keep changing things. Either he don`t know his best side or he is panicking. When Bale got sent off,he looked like he did`nt have a clue what to do. ie bring on a deffender for a midfielder(as he had 5 to choose from). or play 3 at the back. Still he who laughs longest laughs shortest.... or whatever. As for the gooners they again will end up like beggers in the street .............POTLESS

Osama Bin Laden sent out a new video to prove he was still alive, in it he said SPURS were rubbish recently.

Britsh intelligence dissmissed it saying: ''That could have been recorded anytime in the last 8 years''...

tourist is in North London one Saturday and he decides he would very much like to go to a football match, so he asks a man in the street if there are any local matches being played that afternoon.

“Well,” replies the man, “the Arsenal ground is very close but they’re playing away today. If you feel you really must see a match, the Tottenham ground is not that far away. You go straight down this road and you’ll see two queues, a big queue and a small queue.

You should go to the small queue for the Tottenham match because the big one is for the fish and chip shop !!

hi guys

the gonners had a good result last nite fabregas was all the diffrence enjoy it cos he will off to real madrid or baca next season

its not that the gonners were outstanding it was because fener was rubbish and when they play tougher teams the arsenal defence will be tested because they were quite suspect last nite, i must say that ramsey looks good and at 17 he will be a top player if wegner keeps him does not like his english players

fener in not even in contention this year they are 10th in the league and their spainish manager who won the euro in the summer is struggling and will be sacked

is it me or spainish managers are no good look at real and baca who have dominated the spainish league all their managers were foreign

back on to spurs i belive they will come good and the reason ramos is tinkering i belive he has not found his best formation or team come to think bout it

Beckham to join AC Milan on loan

David Beckham has agreed to move to AC Milan on loan in January, the Italian club has told BBC Sport.

The England midfielder, 33, plays for Los Angeles Galaxy, whose Major League Soccer season ends this weekend.

Speaking on Wednesday morning, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani said: "Beckham has chosen Milan. He'll stay here in Milan on loan for a few months.

"Our squad is ultra-competitive and it will remain this way. But Beckham is something different and intriguing."

Beckham is eager to stay in England coach Fabio Capello's plans during the MLS close season. The midfielder needs two more caps to become England's most-capped outfield player, taking him past Bobby Moore, who made 108 appearances for his country.

Italian Capello has made it clear he will only select players who are active and in form.

Beckham will join a stellar squad at Milan, including

Brazilians Ronaldinho, Kaka and Alexandre Pato, as well as Italian internati

as well as Italian internationals Andrea Pirlo and Gennaro Gattuso.

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has made it clear he would welcome Beckham's arrival.

"For me it will be a pleasure. Beckham is a serious athlete, a great professional," he said.

"If he'll be available for us, we'll be very happy."

Beckham would be eligible to play for Milan both domestically and in the Uefa Cup.

Hi Erkan, yes Ramsey looks good. The Welsh have discovered a gem. Wish he was English.

You are right, I think Fabregas makes Arsenal tick. Barcelona will push and push to try and prise him away.

Hi Bill, interesting about Beckham. He needs to stay fit and play quality football so he can maintain his England place in the squad. Good move for both parties.

He might do it for free. The LA team will cover his wages. It's in their interest to do so, plus it's not as if Beckham needs the money. AC Milan will probably pay the insurance, for if he should get injured.

What am I thinking of. Of course he will demand a wage. Old Posh will make sure of that. My mans to good to be paying for nothing she will be saying. Plus I have seen a lovely new pair of shoes I need

Apparently this weekend's Premiership's fixtures could be called off as a Police investigation discovered irregular betting patterns revolving around some Premiership games. Apparently one 'punter' has 'lumped on' a 'fiver' on a Spurs win, alerting Interpol, putting the Premiership on red alert.

How many hours, days, weeks has Ramos got left?

Will he fall on his sword or will he be pitched (pardon the pun) into the abyss?

"Dead man walking" me thinks

After last years disgraceful treatment of Martin Jol , this is really poetic justice for Mr Levy and the rest of his cronies who will not give any manager of theirs any time to turn things around, personally I bet Martin Jol is laughing himself silly at the plight of Totteringham whilst his new club are top of the Bundesliga,

Don't sack the manager sack the board !!

it is not levy some of us spurs fans are very fickle, mr levy a spurs fan as a chairman has done a good job other than getting rid of jol and with that he supported him till he lost the dressing room cos of berbatov, levy has supported every manager with unlimited transfer funds, the club runs at a healthy profit, has a new state of the art training ground being built aswell as expanding the stadium

for me its this d.o.f postion it does not work with commoli (got jol sacked)waste of space if he was that good why did wegner let him go, and the other is enic who owns spurs and also own other teams are showing they r only in it for the money sale of keane-berbatov-carrick-defoe and levy answers to enic

i must say thou ramos looked lost the other nite and too much tinkering is harming the flow of the team even thou they r playing with a bit more grit but goals get you results & its hard to see where they r coming from all me need is a proven goalscorer and a defensive midfielder

Hi UK TURK re msg 64, i can agree with most of it, however business is business and the profit made on all the the player you name stops the club going the same way as Leeds. But you do need replacements and thats where I agree the DOF should have already been shown the door.

I think that there are a lot of oversees players that have come to the premiership on the back of a couple of good games for their country, and then find out they cant hack the premiership. Forlan,Veron,at Man U, are couple of examples and Shevcenko did`nt become a bad player overnight.

But back to the yids, and sometime in the next 2 weeks a team is gonna get the backlash( hopefuly the gooners).

Littlenige, your prediction of the score, is as funny as your Chelsea - Burnley prediction, ..........keep it up we need a laugh

well done Mr Levy , yet another manager bites the dust & and this one even won you lot of under achievers a trophy !!!, as oliver hardy famously said " Thats another fine mess you got me into " wise up ENIC get rid of the problem at source and then the problems go , don't shoot the messenger.

I fully expect spuds to win today and as soon as that happens harry's going to be hailed as the new messiah but the problems with suds are far more than the manager , the board is rotten to the core

JTS.. Why do they think Redknapp is any better than Ramos.Redknapp couldnt make up his mind who he wanted to manage.Portsmouth orBournemouth or Southamapton. He was like a butterfly at one stage flitting between them all,but he will be happy now he is back in his mother land for the time being.I personally dont rate him as a manager as a money taker ,first class...Be interesting to see what happens in the next week or two...

i agree harry will steady the ship add a bit of grit in to the team, even thou he is a good manager i dont think he is the man to take us to the next step, what has he really achevied!!! bourmouth, west ham, southampton and porstmouth he did well for these smaller clubs but more is expected from the fans and not forgetting the board

another short term solution otherwise why would he only sign a 3 year contract and say this is his last big mangers job before he retires and also which is worrying he said if spurs get relegated he will walk away saying he tried and it did not work out!!!

shame we cud not keep poyet in some sort of capacity but thank god commoli has gone and that dreaded d.o.f postion

i didn't understand what you ment by "take us to the next step "

surely he has already overseen the relagation of Southampton so he can do the same for you guys??? or is the next step just another year away when he gets the sack after maybe keeping you up or heaven forbid actually winning a trophy for you , though thats not guaranteed to keep your job , just ask the last 2 managers who actually won you something , Don't you think that your team's trying to punch a bit above it's weight ???

Is this the same `arry Rednapp who hated the Spurs supporters a couple of weeks ago. Expect a couple of decent results in the next few weeks , cos the players know they could be out come the transfer window.

As ukturk says he Harry aint won much.

New Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes his bottom-of-the-table team are good enough to avoid a relegation battle.

Harry mate, I think you are already in a relegation battle... but we know what you meant to say...

He has a Midas touch with team struggling at the bottom...

jonny

what is there not to understand after finnishing 5th for two seasons and playing in europe jol was booted out and ramos was brought in to take to us to the next step and apart from winning the cup beating chelski and the gonners everything has been downhill, its a known fact any top side dont change 6-8 players in your team and you dont have to tell me about being trigger happy and sticking with one man like arsenal look at wegner he is under preasure has not won nothing for three years and the board stick with him and all their fans moan about is that they did not buy any world class players

your comment on trying to punch a bit above it's weight do you mean by spending millions on players and pushing for a champ leagues spot because i see it trying to break into the top four maybe at the gonners expense!!! lol

and im not sure rednapp can acheive this i hope he can

What where they thinking about(Arsenal)does the manager tell them anything.Or did they just press the self destruct button.4-2 up with two minutes to go.Ah but yes i forgot there only bairns and dont know any better.I am all for flowing attractive football. But there comes a time were you have to stick with what you have and 4-2 in front with a few minutes to go seems as good a time as any."the new fergie fledglings" thinks not,
