How on earth can any right minded person give business to or deal with the kind of person who posts bad taste jokes on any bulletin board, it beggars belief, and why does it take the mods so long to act ? and why is the thread allowed to remain on the board ?

poster should be banned in my opinion, and the posters of similar nature also, this is the only way to stop this abhorrant behaviour, it didnt even have "Joke" by it albeit a very bad joke, and in very bad taste.......heartless and so cruel....

I must admit I thought it was a genuine holiday advert as I posted saying go to Turkey for a cheaper holiday, just didn't think that anyone could make a joke out of anything so tragic.

The problem is that until 20 years ago or so posts like the one disputed (or at the time: letters from readers) were thrown into the dustbin when received. Maybe some posters here would understand answers to their post like: "Into the dustbin"?

Re message 6. Not sure if you mean predictable responses from the people complaining about the original post, or whether you mean predictable responses from the people joining in with the "jokes" on the other thread. I hope it is the latter.

I very rarely post on here, but do read the forum regularly to find out the latest on Northern Cyprus, where we have been holidaying for many years. Sometimes I'm irritated by some of the postings, but have never felt the need to involve myself in any of the outpourings however much I agree or disagree at the time. However, if someone who thought it appropriate to make a joke about the poor lady in Tenerife could explain to me which part of it they found amusing, I would be grateful. I have a very well developed sense of humour,but for goodness sake, the only feelings any right minded person would have about this are shock, horror and profound empathy for her and her family.Please put yourselves in their shoes if only for a few seconds and think!
