Hi Maggie, we had one fitted by Alkinlar and I must say we are really pleased with it.

Very sound advice re heating vents, cleaned up when finished and stove fitted perfectly.

Knowing every fireplace is different Mustafa, the owner, agreed to send two fires we liked to see which was the snuggest fit. Couple of hours later all was done. He also prices in whatever matching stone surround you require to offset/match your flooring.

Being local.. he is happy to come out and double check your measurements which is paramount as once they are made they are made, if you get my drift. For instance, often the fireplace floor is an inch or two lower than the firehearth which would decide the placement of the removeable ash can/tray.

Anyway from our experience with Alkinlar... I would recommend

Hope this helps, Joseph.

Thanks for all the advice.....Had a look at some fab ones in Lefkosa but think we'll be heading down to Alkinlar's - don't think you can get a mortgage on a cute red enamel wood burner!
