Rowlo, also if Ercan is the point of arrival. You can but duty free on arrival at Ercan and it is cheaper than anywhere else. Also you are allowed 3 cartons of cigarettes if bought there. They also sell booze, perfume etc. but the choice is a bit limited.

Not sure if cigs at airport are genuine. Every time I buy a carton or two, I end up with a bad cough. Seems like they are made from inferior tobacco. Don't have this prob with cigs in UK.

well i always take back a couple of thousand , i smoke silk cut and the health warnings are in english , tells me the fags are made in the uk , also tells me that at £25 per carton of 200 we sure do get ripped of in uk , also have no adverse coughing , in fact what i take back in fags , pays for my flights , this comparison is taken from leading high street shops , it does not effect your consumer rights , i do not / have never worked at ercan airport ,please smoke responsably .

Use Patches - first 2 weeks a struggle then gets easier. Avoid stress cause thats what gets you back on the ciggies.

If you want cheap fags fly to Abu Dhabi, i can buy Super Kings (made in the UK) in my local supermarket for 28 Dirhams a carton, that is just under 5 quid.

When i go to the UK i always take a dozen or so. Never had any problems at customs, it pays for the flight.
