I can recommend this work to anyone. Keeping used toilet paper in a bin has to be one of the yukkiest things going.

As I explained when we spoke recently,all the work you asked for has been done to your roof. There is no other possible point of entry for water on your roof. The property is semi-detached and the water is tracking through from under your neighbour's ridge tiles. I explained that we could not do work to your neighbours roof without their express instructions and that situation still stands.

So are you saying that if my neighbour gives permission you will carry out this repair free? as you are saying that the work done was unessesary, as this was not the point of entry?. Please note i did not specify the work to be done ,i explained the problem, you decided the plan of action, i am not a roof specialist

The answers are no and no. On our first visit we agreed a plan of action and we completed that work. On our second visit you were absolutely specific about what you wanted done, I agreed with you, and we did it. In addition it now seems that there is a problem with the neighbour's roof. Given that they are semi-detatched I suppose it shouldn't come as a surprise that both halves of the building have leaks. Having eliminated possible sources on the one half, as you asked, does not now make us responsible for a semi-detatched villa in seperate ownership even if it is causing you a problem.



I understand that it is an "odd" circumstance but we went through all this on the telephone and airing it on a public forum can not change the facts. We can't go doing work on people's villas without being sure that it is properly authorised.

very strange that the neighbours house has no leaks!! whatever , i will seek another company to investigate, where the leak is coming from, im sure this will be standard practice ?
