Kav,

Totally agree with you, this kind of thing makes my blood boil. The UK government should take a long hard look at it's absurd rules and look after the people who have paid into the system. Not all these immigrants from countries

who have never paid a penny in. I think before they are let in, they should have enough money to keep themselves for two years and have enough qualifications to get a job. After two years of working and paying into the system, only then should they be allowed any benefits, such as NHS care. The UK is just to soft and it is known world wide

as being a soft touch and that is why all nationalities head for the UK. They pass through countless other european

countries to get there.

My cousin is a GP in the UK. As part of the efforts to flush out those falsely claiming sickness benefit those in receipt of benefit have to see their doctors to get an initial assessment of their condition. Over 40% of those called in for an appointment failed to even show up for their appointment and went to sign on as out of work instead. If that is the situation throughout the whole of the UK what is he cost?.

in terms of sickness benefit etc is it not then fairer to use your NI number .

punch in your details and firstly see if the claimant has ever paid in ,then the level of benefit can at least go to the right person ?
