Hello.



I have been over to N/Cyprus with a view to purchasing a villa, I am fully aware of the problems surrounding the buying proceedure. I have seen several properties but I have chosen one that I feel may be OK. However I have decided to have the property checked by a registered TRNC surveyor, could any person recommend someone honest and reliable ?.

I don't know a TRNC registered surveyor but I would be happy to recommend Stuart Hilyard who is an FRICS registered surveyor from the UK who now lives and works here in TRNC.

Stuarts number is 0533 861 2330. His firm is Compass Services.

Make sure your surveyor is registered with the TRNC Chamber of Architects, Nicosia....if not and you ever get to the point where the survey needs to be produced at court, you will have to do it, and pay, all over again.......been there, worn the T-shirt.
