I use that border crossing on a regular basis (Bostanci/ Astromeritis) the insurance office on the RoC side tends to keep fairly regular hours but some times opens late and closes early. I have in the past asked the police to contact the insurance agent by phone and my insurance has been renewed by fax.

All well and good if renewing an expired policy but it might be prudent to obtain a new policy elsewhere.



As a foot note. The insurance office on the TRNC side keeps longer hours and will turn out from home by pre arranged appointment to write a new policy during the evenings for visitors from the RoC.
