Splat the little devils, spray bedrooms about half an hour before you go to bed. It helps but theres always one or two demons who wont go down without a fight!! Good luck!

I found taking vitamin B1 complex tablets daily and a liberal sraying with "Jungle Formula" twice a day (the 50% stuff) plus spraying bedroom as mentioned before, if itching becomes intolerable, then go to chemist and have an antihismine injection, (beware this is in yer bum), advice oringinally given to me by Nurse Awful, this has always helped me as I used to get eaten alive, but now ok, or you could eat vast quantites of marmite not tried this but have been told it works, best of luck.

VAPE pump spray is a 95% deet product and I find this brilliant. You can also buy it in cream form for hands etc. Having a fan oscillating across you literally "blows them away", together with mozzies.

Try this recipe

1 part Baby oil

1 part Citronella oil

1 part Dettol

Mix thoroughly in a spray bottle or any bottle , spray all over your skin , or rub onto skin

Just try it , Simbas

For those who say that the sandflies still come through their Mozzie blinds, despite the installers saying they won't, the answer is quite simple and it does work. Resist the urge to clean the mozzie blinds!. Let the dust build up in the plastic netting, so there is no space left and they can't get through. With all the dust in the atmosphere here, it doesn't take long.

give the mozzie nets an occasional spray with Vape..or spray with simbas cocktail,,,especially at night..I tried rubbing half a lemon on the mozzie nets before bed ,it seemed to do the trick....

TANGO 1...sand fly mesh is twice the strands compared to mozzie mesh .we have imported sand fly mesh from China and can vouch for its density.Unfortunately ,no matter how well you screen ,it can't protect you whilst sat round the pool in the evenings :( we have dogs which go out last thing before bed and THEY bring in little biters. I am allergic to mozzy bites,so you can guess that i am quite paranoid about ANYTHING that buzzes past me !! I am sure there is a big finger above my head which says "bite this one"!Since moving to Cyprus I can do a fare impression of the "River Dance" when at outside, evening entertainment )))good luck-try all the suggestions-1 will work for you. PS keep mozzy nets CLEAN -it extends the life of your investment.
