Just heard from Mark that the market is on this week, set up from 08:30. We are planning to run our stall with biscuits, fudge, jams & marmalade plus we have lots of turtle related goods to raise funds for SPOT (Society for the Protection of Turtles) and information about KUSKOR (North Cyprus Society for the Protection of Birds and Nature http://www.kuskor.org/en/home/) Hope to see you there. Anyone else planning to run a stall this weekend?

To coincide with the Esentepe Zerdali Festivali (Starting this Friday at 7:30pm - Opening by TRNC Prime Minister) we have made some Apricot Jam today ready for Saturday's Market... Don't forget to visit the Esentepe Apricot Festival too!

I haven't seen the programme but in previous years it has run for about 9 days (Fri - Sun), mainly in the evening but with some events during the day too. Most evening events kick off about 8pm and the Muhtar was meeting with the Mayor and others yesterday to discuss a 'European' night to be held on Monday 30th. There are always plenty of stalls in the Wedding Park each evening and bumper cars opposite. Mrs G

The k9 stall will be there as usual, selling bric a brac, clothes etc. Also have a small tv and wet/dry vacuum for sale. Golf clubs and more. Come along and browse.

brother, when you arrive in the village proper, pass Tumba's, Remsi's and Sarac supermarket on LHS, Mosque, Belediye on RHS, follow the road as it goes right at Kim market and keep going until you see some action! Quite often when you arrive in the village you can't see a lot of activity and a lot of people turn back but don't be fooled, there will be plenty going on.
