| No they don't flash and don't give you any leeway either. If in a 50 kph zone doing 51 kph expect a fine!

Hairspray the number plates then wrap them in clingfilm then reattach. This will flash back at the speed camera without picking out the letters & numbers!

| Well here I go on one of my try and share my knowledge with people again whether they want to hear it or not but it is a bad habit of mine and I haven't got round to breaking it yet!
Most people believe that there is a 10% error factor allowance on speed cameras for example if the speed limit, the camera is set to 44 to allow for the 10% error that can be found on anologue speedometers, now in many countries that is still true however in several countries now, the authorities realise that the speedos of modern day technology are a great deal more accurate than in the 80's when the 10% margin was incorporated and have therefore dropped it.
2 things,
In Dubai they have 10% error on all roads except roads with schools and high public activity like Jumeira beach road because as far as they are comcerned you should be driving safely for the situation and not at the closest point to the speed limit.
If you do have an error it might mean you are doing 44 so adding 10% makes it 48.5. |

| so its not just a money maker ,,, !!! proper training and car tests would be a fine start ,, thought was always about saving lives , not lining pockets ,..............guvined cars would the way to go ,.. then it would be all about acellaration ,, |
