only to receive a second email explaining how to forward the cash via Western Union. Fortunately nobody was daft enough to do so without phoning me first. However, those who initially responded have also now put their own email service and contacts in jeopardy!

But the result of this is that I am unable to access my own email account so have (only temporarily, I hope) lost all my contact information and the emails in my inbox. I have now had to set up a new email account and am trying to get my own information back with the help of the Microsoft helpdesk.

So if in doubt, just don't open it. It is not worth the embarrassment and inconvenience.
