Family Fun BBQ on Sunday 12th June at Sunset, Club, Lapta.

With Karsiyaka School Traditional Dance Troupe, Turtle Trotting with Glen & Sharon, Childrens Turtle Drive. Only 15tl inc. BBQ Avail now at Sunset, SPOT Stall, Lambousa Market or call Tricia 0533 846 9563



Proceeds to Society for the Protection of Turtles (SPOT) North Cyprus

Turtles are nesting NOW at Alagadi and Guzelyali Turtle Beaches come and support this charity and help protect these endangered species, they were here before dinasours! Sadly only 1 in 1,000 hatchlings we release to the sea will make it to Adulthood and if female lay their own nest, here on the beach they were 'born' on.

Sounds great Teepee. As obviously this will be great for families, what time does it start please. And is there a limit on numbers????

According to Events it is from 5.30pm but best to check with Tricia on 0533 846 9563, if she doesn't confirm the time here.

Got many takers Tricia. This sounds one of those (almost rare) good events for families and I hope it is a success. sounds like lots to do as well as great grub and a chance to share in caring for the envirionment.

Just confirmed with Tricia that people can turn up at 5pm for a 5.30pm start on Sunday 12th June.

Doesn't Tricia need to know numbers in advance for catering? Or doesn't it matter? Personally I am looking forward to it as something 'different' even though i don't have children. Might win a couple of lira on the turtle racing, although with my luck taking part is merely an 'investment'.
