Well done to Swansea but I thought the English Premier League was for English teams! Mind you a Welsh league would be a little repetative wouldn't it... Swansea v Cardiff... Cardiff v Swansea.. Swansea v Cardiff... etc.

As an Englishman I dont see the problem of a Welsh team being in the Premiership. After all most of the Premiership teams include more 'imported' players than they do englishmen. I would only see a problem if all Premiership teams were required to field English players only.

Anyhow good luck to Swansea, lets hope they are able to carry the Welsh flag in the Premiership for many years to come.

Have to tell you that I worked for Swansea City when they were in the first division and the majority of their players were from Liverpool (England)!!! They were known fondly as Liverpool Reserves.Wish them all the best of luck. Good to see they`ve done it again, racism shouldn`t come into sport.

Yes, well done Swansea.

Msg 1... there are other Welsh teams in the Football League. Newport County and Wrexham Town come to mind.

Msg 5.. Yes, true. I was commenting on the EPL though. Shouldn't be really at all, and it is not racism Msg 4!! The clue is in the 'English' part of the title....

You have to set your level of expectation high, they will certainly surprise a few teams next year

Now that Swansea are there, Rangers and Celtic to follow?? Of course, they would need to start at the bottom
