Is that, which hotel or a witch hotel?!

A bit more information on what you're looking for might help for a serious reply!

I have just arrived at my hotel with my girlfriend and she was complaining straight away.

" I like the long mirror but the room is a little small "

I screamed at her "we're in the lift"

Try this link, it should take you to a page with customer reviews available for several hotels in the area and then you can click on the banner at the top of this page to go to gonorthcyprus.com to see if there are any good offers for the one you prefer. I personally would not book through booking.com as they always seem to be a little more expensive but they do have some good information available.

Msg 7

It doesn't work like that. You specify where and what you're looking for and you may get some positive suggestions otherwise do your own work & research through the internet!

For me, I prefer YFred palace every time. Where one gets in touch with nature, good and proper. If you know what I mean.

Without doubt the very best place to stay in North Cyprus is The Almond Holiday Village...

Blackbird. I've agreed with you many times before with regard to the Almonds. You can't fault the place.

Thanks Jeannie for explaining about Trip Advisor to Happyitaliano. I have to say I always check there whenever I am looking for a hotel. At least you have a good idea of what you are going to then.

Msg. 22. Personally I wouldn't stay at any of those you mention. Guests are just a number on a computer sheet, not a guest in the true sense of the world. As to Cratos, well it gets a bit stuffy on occasions!

Reply to original post. I love the Bella View. Beds very comfortable, and there are lot of comfy sofas in the main reception area. Salt water pool, excellent food, friendly staff, excellent personal service. What more could you ask.

I can recommend Colony if you want to stay in Girne for a bit of luxury, Acapulco if you want a beach holiday, Pia bella in Girne for for a small friendly hotel, and the Cratos for a bit more luxury, some nice hotels at Belapais stayed at all of them for a few nights very very nice.

Wholeheartedly agee with Blackbird. Used to stay there in the early days before we came here. We made good friends with Ali, Dervise and their family and would not hesitate in recommending the Almond 100% They have put everything back into their business and it`s obvious when you go there, the place just gets better.

Cratos recently had a big fire, so cross that one off your list. Until they get it right that is.

My preference would be the Merit Hotel or the Mercure. Haven't stayed in the others, so can't say.

Msg 40,

The Merit Crystal cove is certainly all inclusive, The Mercure however is Ultra all inclusive(Includes in -room Minibar). but unlike the Merit has No beach.

The Almond Village. Stayed there a couple of weeks ago and will certainly go back when I'm visiting next time.

There was just something about it that made us all feel relaxed and safe. Good luck to the folks that own it and I hope the special nature of it all does not disappear if they become a larger establishment.

Hi there

We have not been out this year, but have stayed in the Colony on most visits. It is a really lovely hotel. We always requested one of the front rooms that had a large balcony overlooking the road. It was nice to just watch all of the people walking around.

Hope that you make a decission soon, the suspense is killing me!

Best Wishes

David
