Statement correct, but surely this will suit 85% of posters on 44 who want NC to be Britain with sunshine, also surprising the amount of TC's who sell, visit & buy at the boot sale. Don't knock it until you try it

What is your problem, yes it is a traditional UK car boot sale, being a car boot sale what it says, many people are visiting every week, it is now in its 7th week and something new to the trnc, however there is a lot of markets who have decided to jump on the bandwagon, so obviously cannot be that bad, anyway we won't expect to see you tomorrow, enjoy your sunday, I know we will too!

The car boot sale and such markets are benefiting the locals by enabling them to purchase second-hand items which they would not normally be able to buy (i.e. brand new). So thumbs up to you Mo! Traditions are ever changing so move with the times Deniz1.

I went last Sunday, and as message 12 states - 'markets benefits the locals' as well as the Brits who love car boot sales. If you don't like 'em don't go - simples, no need to be rude about it on here!

By the way I had a fabulous burger and I didn't hear my old man complaining about his either - so something must be right.

Good luck Mo and Arif, p.s. set the dogs onto the whingers, ha ha!

I took my unwanted stuff along to the boot sale yesterday (Sunday 12th) and although it was quiet, I sold almost everything I had (to locals mostly) and made 600 TL!

I liked it being the 'car boot' style - much easier for me to just drive in and unpack my car onto a table (provided by the organisers free of charge).

Message 6 - Traditional in the sense that IT IS a Car Boot Sale. I've heard so many people call the local markets that go on over the weekend 'car boots' and they're not. Not a car boot in sight.

They are traditional markets - with stalls.

Mo's market is a traditional car boot with car boots!
