What a sorry sad looking man he is now that he is in the dock, asking the judge for time to think about the questions he is being asked.

1000s he killed.Lets hope the families can now get some peace.

The judge has given him 1 month to think about the questions put to him, should of only allowed him the same time as he did to the people he killed,No time.

Couldn't agree more. He is just playing a stupid game; surely no-one will fall for it.

I don't care if he is 60 or 600 - he is guilty as hell, and if he can't answer a question immediately, then his answer should be presumed. He should then be despatched from this earth - his demise will be 100% kinder and less painful than his victims.

Let's give him a fair trial as civil society.

Zoot's I don't often disagree with you but in this case I will make an exception.

He should be hung drawn and quartered.

Now I am not violent man, but I also make an exception there and I would volunteer to do it. May he rot in hell.

Of course he has already been punished once in some ways the way his daughter took her life when she found out about her father.

hmmm...

if the can be caught and put on trial

that means the prosecutors and injured parties stay

on the moral high ground and the verdict, if found

guilty can serve as an important warning to similar

or would-be mass killers

also, it is hardly for the media to judge anyone:

in some cases evidence presented at trials may

exonerate or implicate the accused, and others

otherwise, like albert speer hitler's armaments

minister not only could they claim they never knew

what was happening around them but "fair-minded"

prosecutors may decide to save them alone to prove,

somehow, it is a truly impartial process

if the person is a killer, and is asassinated,

and tortured as y fred suggests,

supporters can always argue afterwards it is simply

a case of "six of one, half a dozen of another"

there are situations where "fire-brigade" actions can

be the only effective way to deal with a dangerous

individual, think osama and controversially, nicholas II

YFred,

Don't get me wrong - I think he's culpable as well. But the only thing that separates us from these monsters is not treating people the way they do. We use due process and trial.

But I wouldn't shed a tear if he was hung, drawn and quartered.

Dear Zero

The problem is many of his countrymen think he is a hero - so it is important that the facts come out ..

As we see on here.. some folks are VERY quick to contribute their 'opinion' when they aren't clued up on the facts...

Let's make sure his deeds can't be called into question by his 'supporters' .. he will play all his stalling cards and then we can hear the evidence....

The important thing is he was brought to anser for his crimes.. and let's hope he doesn't peg it - like Milošević
