Hi Steve, there is, or was a place that sold 'Tens' machines a couple of years ago in Lefkosa. It was very close to the main General hospital. The hospital is on the left just after you pass the very first road roundabout as you go over the mountain to Lefkosa.

The is also a shop that sells medical equipment, oppososite the 'Dano' bakery shop between the Pia Bella hotel road roundabout and the traffic lights for Bellapais. Try that shop, you never know.

Hi Steve, was just passing that shop near the Pia Bella roundabout and called in to see if they sell them. They do and the name of the product is 'Physio Med Tens Care'. There are two different models. One model cost 233 lira and the other, which has more modes on it costs 270 lira (that's probably the best). Considering that I have a Tens machine that I bought in the UK 10 years ago at £59 - these model are reasonably priced.

They do also sell replaceable pads at 21 lira for a packet of 4 - again that's not a bad price.

Hope that info is OK.

I am in the UK at the moment and can bring one back for you if you want me to. Back on the 18th June.

Steve,

It would be cheaper to get one on the net but the models vary in quality.

I returned a very flimsy model that was under £10.00.

The replacement pads are available as well.

Could someone bring you one out as previously suggested?

Steve now has a TENS machine that I loaned him this morning. It is 2 months old and cost £13.95 in the UK! A wee bit cheaper than here I think.

Which brand is it or are they all the same size? How many do you want?
