Help with Architects

Hi all



Need more of your help.



The plot of land that we are looking to buy, we have hit a snag.

Our Advocate has told us that as the access to the plot is 350 meters

we may not be permitted to build on it after the 31st December.

Could anybody tell us why?

She then says we will have to have plans prepared to submit to the city planing office before the 31/12/08 to obtain the building permit.



So do any of you know a Architect and how much would they charge?

Also how long can you sit on the land without building on it,as

we do not intend to move over to N/C for another 6-7yrs.

It is my understanding that by buying land and not building....



If it's not Turkish or English title i.e. Greek Cypriot then you will be taking a big risk....

i know one.his name is omar and is located in an office just around the corner from gurken& gurken in girne. (he restored the han in lefkosa.)

nice guy speaks english.

they charge per sq meter of build i think. its not cheep!

try looking for someone who has plans already and using their stuff.

the architect uses a computer with a few different designs. which is okay if you want the same house as everyone else.

if not it will cost you.

Mehment Ucock who has an office adjacent to the Passport Restaurant was our architect.

He is a smashing lad trained in UK and speaks better english than me he can be contacted by e mail
