Branson would never be daft enough to risk his reputation by coming to TRNC. Anyone who believes the rumours here is naive. As usual, word of mouth gossip and hearsay without a shred of evidence.

how on earth would Mr Branson be risking his reputation? He has come to a wedding at the invitation of the Smiths for the wedding of young master smith, whom I believe worked for Mr Branson. I think the biggest shame is that he was not allowed to land in Ercan but had to land in larnaca, but for the life of me I cannot understand any risk to him. But great publicity for TRNC, isn't it??? Thank you Mr Branson for showing no prejudice and for partiicpating in an act of love o n the island of love. Yes, I know he won't read it, but you never know...............



Hope he does add to the tourism industry here. No prejudice being shown here, is there. All good stuff, I reckon.

Virgin have been flying into Athens, for years... has anyone thought he may have been on a "recky", to see if it is worthwhile Virgin flying into Cyprus? After all, BA are his biggest competitor and they have daily scheduled flights into Larnaca. Just a thought...
