Hi, im a new member and was wondering if anyone can give me some info on purchasing apartments in essentepe, we were thinking about renting out a property there, but slightly concerned about agents on internet and of the situation in North Cyprus regarding land ownership etc. Thanks

Do you mean you are thinking buying to let? Or renting and not buying?

Renting and not buying is a very sensible option...

Here are some guidelines from Home Buyers Pressure Group http://www.hbpg-trnc.net/documents/purchaseguide_updated.html

If you are coming here to look at properties drop in and see them at the Pia Bella Hotel, they are there every Tuesday from 12 noon until 3pm. They will be able to help you.

Thanks all, we are looking to buy to let with occasional holidays, we were looking at esentepe region, where golf course and marina is to be built. Does anyone know if this would be a viable option to rent out. Or is there anywhere else that has good rental potential. Thanks

Hi ecosse,

My friend has a 2 bed detached bungalow for sale in the area you are looking

6 mins to golf course and will be the same to marina when it is built. The bungalow overlooks the pool and has views of the sea and mountains. The bungalow is 2 years old and she has been renting it out for the last 3 summers

with success and many return visitors. If you are interested I can put you in touch with her.

Hello Ecosse

Welcome to the forum, another place you might try is Glencoe Cyprus they have access to many resale and rental properties around the golf club, Esentepe, Tatlisu areas, and they now have a forum on their web site it is

http://www.glencoecyprus.com/forum

Good luck

punk rocker,

i would reiterate your advise of contacting Glencoe. Greg the owner of the Company, and now the forum, is an Esentepe resident, and has been so for many years. The Company specialise

in sales rentals, property and swimming pool maintainance, mostly centred around the Esentepe area. They are very helpful!

Just a quick question for the butler's wife ???

the bungalow is TWO years old but it has been getting let out for the past THREE summers, surely it has to be almost three years old at least if she/he started letting in 2006
