Hi guys



I have heard great things about the supermarket over the mountain from Catalkoy towards Ercan. I believe it's called something like 'Erulku'. It has a pizza place adjoined to it.



Has anyone got any thoughts on this market before we go for a big shop there over the weekend?



Is it really worth the trip with the savings you make?

Also is there anything for kids, as we'll be taking our 3 year old daughter with us and it would be great if there's something for her to do too like a covered park etc?

Been a few times, when passing.

It's a much bigger supermarket than the ones around Girne.

Prices do seem to be cheaper, and larger selection of goods.

Worth a visit.

Hi Superted, we have been ther quite a few times and it is a good supermarket and good savings can be had there,the pizza place is not that good.A little further down the road at the cross roads to the airport there is a large bazaar it has a small coffee house with some kiddies rides inside and is worth a look round.

Excellent supermarket, the best fresh fruit and veg around and their bread id superb. Large butchers counter inside as well. I think on Sat there is an outside market usually clothing also looks like an arcade for kids next to it as well.

Think the place bazzagirl mentioned is 1001, very large shop.

We also find this supermarket excellent !! However we do remain loyal to the local supermarkets and little shops. We find that the local shops/supermarkets reward us far more as they will go out of there way to buy in something as way of special requests, help you to the car with your shopping or simply guide you around the asles to help find what you are looking for. Hope this helps !!
