Vauxhall Vectra 2200sri first registered 04/06 imported to North Cyprus 31/08/10 valid till 31/07/11.

Can I take to Turkey and bring back to North Cyprus with new U.K road tax valid to 31/07/2012 and obtain Cyprus MOT before leaving Cyprus or is car over age limit?

If possible can I take car to Turkey in August a few days after expiry of current permit.

As car has private plates I could re-register in UK with new plates if needed.

If not please advise any other alternative rather than pay duty etc now which I believe is almost £8k due to engine size.

I believe its an accumulation of one year that the car is allowed to be here and not renewable if you leave the country but check this out as the rules do change over night. Best to take it back to the uk or sell it to a dealer that knows the way around the law.
