Message 12: we can get Kung Fu Panda 2 but the quality is poor and not up to our standards. I would suggest that this will likely be available within a couple of months with much better quality.

Idiotman: A lot of people can't download as they are using limited download dongles here.

Tinkie: the DVD shops here just download and stick them on discs - quality extremely variable. We have a vast amount of other expensive software which we use to ensure that the quality is as original. As well as this, we use top quality discs which are professionally printed along with the covers. This is why we are charging more - it's the old saying 'you get what you pay for'.

You must used very expensive software if you can get HD quality movies on a DVD disk that will play from a standard DVD player, as this is actualy impossible ;)

I am not questioning the cost of your discs, my point is that it is very difficult to make a living here, particularly when you have to pay rent on a shop, government taxes, accountants, staff...good luck with your venture but I will continue to use the DVD shop.

Message 16: without getting into the boring technicalities, our quality will speak for itself.

Message 17: no problem but we do have a business here already so we are well aware of the costs!

Agobard, saying the DVD are high quality is no problem and I am sure they are. However saying they are HD quality is just plain incorrect and is blatant misinforming potential customers as far as I see it. HD, High Definition, is a very explicit standard for specific resolutions and these are not possible to provide in standard DVD format on DVD disks, which is why bluray players and disks were invented. Your copied films may well be high quality. They are NOT HD quality.
