My man has just arrived home and informed me that Patsy has passed away. What a sad day for all of us.

No more 88's at bingo, no more judgement of dress sense, Oh my gosh, I am so gonna miss this lady.

Ian, God bless you , and give you the strength to carry on, because you must. YOu know where we are if you need us , xx

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.

I am not there; I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

I am the gentle autumn’s rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and forever cry.

I am not there. I did not die.

Rest in Peace Patsy.

I only met her very briefly over this winter's quizzes at Jessic's, but she seemed a lovely lady with lots of character. My thoughts are with her husband and family at this very sad time.

Thank you all from myself and family for your kind wishes and condolences on our loss. Special thanks to Christine for the lovely words she posted.

Patsy's remains are being repatriated to the UK where she will be cremated and at a later date I will take her ashes up to the Shetland Isles where we come from originally and they will be scattered at one of her favourite spots.

My special thanks to all the doctors and nursing staff at the Near East University Hospital who attended her.

God bless you all, Ian, Julie, Sean and Colin.

On behalf of myself and our family I would like to thank Rev Walker forthe very touching tribute he penned in today's "Cyprus Today" Thank you Rev. I am sure that Patsy would have smiled had she read it.
