"Horlicks" a white Springer X was on her walk with her owner this morning and picked up chicken put in the road, despite her owner Linda trying to get chicken off her, she consumed enough to kill her, she more or less died instantly, not even enough time to get her to the vets. The road was the dirt track before Savyon Village leading up to the Electric Pylon. Please avoid walking your dogs in this area for the time being. There have also been reports of another dog dying in the same area this morning, but have no contact details.

It will never stop here, north or south Cyprus, cruel lot!

This sort of stuff is not news anymore.

While there are so many unwanted dogs around, until there is an organised cull (shooting), this will remain a fact of life.

Sorry for your loss its no way for any animal to die. 2 young cats have disappeared from Savyon and another found in a serious condition but now fine. Bob is also missing from Savyon and his owner is desperate for news.
