This morning I realised I had lost my car keys (no spare) just before I was about to do the weekly

Meals on Wheels for WVS. Organiser had to come down from Paisley to drive me. Tried to get bus

in the afternoon to get my grandchildren from school, but it didn't turn up and had to phone my son

to help out. Had to get to Kilmarnock tonight as our group were singing Gaelic songs (and was doing

a solo) so had to cadge a lift with friend. Lovely evening though and I don't know what will happen

tomorrow but I have just looked everywhere for the b...keys.

The moral is always have a spare set of keys

I once had my handbag snatched with my car keys in, luckily I had a spare set at home, imagine if I did not.

Sorry to hear of your bad day though, I hope tommorrow is better and those damn keys turn up

Yes, niceone I am cursing myself for not getting another one made. Friend said I should have had a spare

set when I bought the car new but didn't.

nurseawful - I have looked in clothes bag! Yes, all sorts of silly places.

Try to remember the last time you were out in the car, retrace your steps e.g. did you go into the garage, straight to the loo, put shopping away. This way hopefully you will find them perhaps in the fridge.

Ridle, You just have!!!

Just because Phylray is in the UK at the moment doesn't mean to say she has to stop posting.

If you don't like it stop after message1 and don't post. Easy.

obviously, once she finds hem she'll stop looking.

ps hope I didn't pinch your punchline.

use a hook behind a cupboard door solely for car keys. ALWAYS have a spare.

Ridle, I'd have thought when she mentioned Paisley and Kilmarnock you'd have realised she was from Scotland. Make allowances, they try their best, and ours.

I also thought this was a forum about TRNC and not a blog, which I find this post would be more suited to.

Maybe I am dozy but I am certainly a very busy woman. The day I lost them I had WRVS meals on wheels

to do (voluntary work) collect my grandchildren from school in next town and keep them until father returns,

get to Kilmarnock somehow as I had promised to join singing group and also a solo.

Wonder if you can do as much when you are my age denizen?

Thanks for all your comments everyone else and it seem likely I will just have to pay up (about £250) which

I can ill afford - the expenses of my flat in Cyprus going up and up and few lets this year.

Last time I had the keys was night before when I was cleaning the boot of car and did not go anywhere after

Definitely not in the boot vonny as I can get into car. Bins were empted yesterday so if I did chuck them I've

had it!

I don't want to read about boring football in U.K and other horrible stories so I don't read them!

Neither do I complain or insult people about them. We all try to help each other on this forum whether

home or abroad.

I did not mean to come across as being rude but.

How would it be if everyone who goes back to the U.K. reports back to everyone every little trauma they encounter in full detail.

obviously opinions vary but my understanding of cyprus 44 is its a forum to help people who need information about Cyprus & related subjects.

I think her keys are exactly where she put them.
