A - Well, first of all he has to turn off the electricity by pressing the switch. You'd think this first step would be easy, but on the way to the switch he meets Lib Dems who try to convince him not to cut off the power so quickly, an angry rabble of Trade Unionists who threaten to strike if he goes near the light switch, and the BBC who plaster his face with unbiased propaganda about the 'correct' way to respond to light switches. When he finally battles his way through to the light switch he meets an EU representative who tells him he can't turn it off because under EU legislation he must install two new light switches while also paying for Greece's faulty light switch. In the end Dave decides to go home because he realises it is impossible to turn off the light switch due to the way Labour installed the wiring. Put simply, the light switch will stay on forever, blazing up a huge bill, until it explodes. Then we'll all be in the dark.

sounds about right toots. Back in the UK the debate is to empty rubbish bins twice a month or revert back to weekly. Too expensive they say to have a weekly collection. OK let disease set in, look what happened in Naples when the rubbish piled up. Beggars belief xxxxx

Send in the Army! Shoot out the bulb, good for saving money and good for target practice - plus you always have somebody you can blame who is used to taking the blame for everything else anyway.

Send in the Navy, they can bomb it out, like Tory Canyon, uses up all the old bombs in stock and helps them with their target practice as well - this allows you to sell off more Government Owned bomb ranges and training areas. Blame as above if it all goes wrong.

Send in the RAF - too late, Defense cuts have done away with all the planes - kept all the ground crew mind you, there has to be somebody left to put in claims or the rest of the admin staff would have to go as well.

Blame the immigrants anyway then give them more money and they will help pay the electric bill so you can leave the light on!
