Brrr! Sounds cold Simbas. Here in Karsiyaka we had a storm last night. The lightening was awesome to watch and the rain gave the garden a good watering. Slighlty cooler this morning.

Just started using a duvet this w/end, previously just a sheet and thin blanket. Still sleeping with all windows open though. Shorts and singlets during the day still.

Few degrees above freezing here in Ayrshire, but glorious sunshine since yesterday. Much prefer it to continuous rain, even though it was milder. JReally looking fwd. to a warm up though, in N.C. November.

As you are all speaking of the cold, does anyone know rough prices for the gas heaters you can buy. We are hopefully coming over for six months in February and will need heating in our apartment. Any advice gratefully received.
