My partner and I took her parents to see Tony Christie a couple of weeks ago.

He sang this, but you got the definite impression that he only sang it because he felt he had to! Reading between the lines I think he's a bit p****d off that it's the only song most people know him for.

It wasn't his encore, that was 'Solitaire' that was a huge hit for Andy Williams 'because I turned it down' Mr Christie informed us !!!!

Armed Forces Day will be on Saturday 25 June.

Hats off to all the brave men and women on active service, and those that paid the ultimate price for us.
